To be exact, I said that the n.pl. ending on nouns and
adjectives (Lat. -a) was changed in parts of Eastern Romance
to -e, by analogy with the demonstrative illaec (in turn
analogical after haec, Classical illa, but illaec already in
Plautus). Cf. also the relative/interrogative pronoun
quid/quod, n.pl. quae. This n.pl. ending -ae comes from
regular n.pl. -a plus a deictic (again) element -i.

You are seriously mistaken. The o-stem neuter plural is
*-eh2 (> -a:) and sometimes apparently *-&2 (> -a). The
a:-stem fem.pl. is usually *-ah2-es > *-a~s, sometimes
(well, in Latin and Greek, not Albanian I think, analogical
after o-stem *-oy) *-ay. No -e, except that in (E.) Romance
and Mod. Greek -ai > -e.
