Yes, the something else being the thematic aorist. But, as is often
the case with Kortlandt, the story is merely sketched in rough
outline and the reader has to bring in a lot of background knowledge
and do a lot of homework to see what is really going on, let alone
get into a position where critically informed evaluation becomes
possible. I for one have never gotten that far. (I've never
understood why accentologists tend to communicate so poorly.)
