Hmmm, I doubt about the last vowel. I assume there is an palatal vowel as
well. This suffix makes in Germanic languages adjectiva which shows the
action "like" "as a child" (childisch). Apparently this is a comparative
function here but how do we have to get this comparative back to what? The
need for a backvowel (i, e, e:) in the suffix is requested by Rom. "-eshte"
< "*eske" for instance. The meaning is the same: "like" [ts�ran (peasant)
ts�r�neshte= like the peasants)
