DEX does not give the stress in the original words so I cannot tell you how
the stress is/was in turkish but I made a search for finding some words
which have the stress on the last "�" and indeed there are some:

-of turkish origin:
sarm�, paft�, cerceve�, pl�se�, etc.

-of NeoGreek origin:
-cucuve�

Aparently in every period of time there are words with the stress on the
last a" if one thinks at latin "catella" and Rom. "c�tse�".
