Niedermann considers here an *flacula for VLat and special for BalkanLatin
an *flaka which should have yelded Alb. "flak�" and from here loaned
everywhere into Balkan. The meaning in Balkan of "*flaca-" is different
from Latin "facula" but it is cognate with Latin "flamma" from "flag-ma".
In the light of *flag-ma versus supposed VLatin *flaca underlined by the
meaning of both words "flag-ma=flame"; "flaca-=flame", it appears the reason
to belive in a Latin etymon here has just only one reason. The ilusion just
Latin could have had an "f" from IE "bh-". This fact was contradicted
several times even by Albanian and Romanian pairs of cogantes. Just to
remember: fluiera / floere, fluture/flutur.
