Question: where did the spanish get LUIS? was it from the FRANKS (as
Chlodowech?) or from the Visigoths? did it evolve independently from
it's own Visigothic of *Hlu:thawi:gaz, or borrowed it from Old French
'LOEIS"? What is... the Gothic form of *Hlu:thawi:gaz, anyway?
