In *nepot-, it has zero grade (*né-po:t-s, *né-pot-m.,
*né-pt-os).

A similar paradigm is exhibited by *swé-so:r(s),
*swé-sor-m., *swé-sr-os), a word the compoundhood of which
is more generally accepted.
