Yes, eeny meenie miney mo. So even if in Tyrrhenian it's *ika and
*ita instead of *ka and *ta (I guess it would be if we have to theorize
*ipa for the interrogative), then the loss of unstressed *a is regular
and expected. It's shown in other examples. So accusative *ikan
then becomes /ecn/ right on schedule. I think that works properly.
