I am certainly open to new information about the prefixed/infixed
(-)o-. As for o:kús 'fast', I am not sure it is related to
ákros 'sharp', but I wouldn't like to exclude it either. I have
taken pains to keep away from enigmatic material in establishing the
basis of the phenomenon.
