These Nakh etymologies are based on ill-reconstructed protoforms.
As Starostin's NEC reconstruction is considered mere bullshit, the
only attempts I see of shed some light on NEC prehistory are
amateurish and without any care of phonological details.
Hardly these reconstructions are better than the ones provided in
Starostin's database. Very hardly.
