I'm not trying to propose any theory. Just pointing similar words (unless it was a mere coincidence, a possibily that cant be ignored)  that seem to be a common source. I'd like to know what the common source, but I dont know.

Why do I feel like this forum has been pushed back 150 years?
What did I just say -- Indirect contact at best. If you all
want to place Sumerian and IE side-by-side, have fun doing
so but that game has been played for decades now
without success.

Besides Sumerian, what language do you propose as
the source of this loanword that may not even be a
loanword?
