These days of absence have been a blessing in disguise. For your
tacit encouragement and silent enthusiasm (plus my own touch of
stubborn, lucrative, Photoshoppesque laissez-faire) contributed to

I put there all my efforts to cut a long story short. So, now it's
here, after a week's work. Enter - let's operationally name it like
this - "Faucounau's proto-ionian theory". Exit my embarassment in
front of such respected and competent judges as yourselves. I'm of
course ready to answer you, in the limit of my little time and even
smaller linguistic capability. What I may know, though, is correct,
for I did my homework, read the originals and checked almost all the
words in "Big Liddle" and some other dictionaries, many currently
online.
Any suggestions, corrections or only directions are warmly welcome !
