Rolf Kraki was given his by-name, according to Saxo, because he
looked like a <kraki>; in other words the word 1) can be used as a
personal name, and 2) can mean a bent, stooped man(?). Since Saxo
thought an explanation was needed, it seems the diverse semantics of
the word caused frowns already then?
