Macedonian (it deserves to be mentioned separately from Bulgarian, since
it has a particularly elaborate system of enclitic articles,
distinguishing plain {-t-} from proximal {-v-} and distal {-n-}),
Romanian and Albanian. Compare

Bulg. v&lk def. v&lkot
Rom. lup def. lupul
Alb. ujk def. ujku

all meaning 'wolf' (each language belongs to a different branch and
employs a different article of indigenous origin).
