Yes, liquid /l/ plus palatal glide /j/ yields in Albanian palatal
glide /j/. So, we have Lat. familia > fëmijë 'child', Lat. ilia >
ijë 'side, flank', Sl. nevolja > nevojë 'need', etc. Maybe also Lat.
scintilla > shkëndijë 'spark' through analogy leveling.
