Does the linguistic you know allow you to arrive at such conclusions?
The "disappearance" (or rather variable visibility) of one or more of
the Pleiades is not connected with any large-scale cataclysms on earth,
and whatever happened among the Pleiades can't have caused any meteor
showers. What's the rhyme or reason of it all?
