Well, it pretty depends on what one means with coat. Unlike French,
Italian, Portuguese, Spanish, one can build complete sentences in
Romanian just with substratual words. There are verbs, nouns,
adjectives, suffixes, prefixes, usw.
I agree, the senteces will look poor out, it wont help all the time ( in
fact it will help just a little time for expraiming what one wants),
they will not be that fine as a cultived person will use in an elevated
discution , but they are there and they are alive and kicking and there
won't be any Romanian Language without that part of it.
The gramair you are speaking about fits more with Albanian as with
Romance and there a lot other thingies, you know as well as me if not
better as me which mache Rom. so different from Romance.
For me the body is the substrate, the coat is Latin and the mantle is
Slavic.
The rest..the rest is a compound of small accesories which make the
whole shows better out ( watch, chain, shoes, hed, etc.:-)
