Yes, well I see a pattern then but I don't know what to
make of it. We should rule out *sxwel-, *dHwor- and *gHwer-
from the pattern. The pattern would consist of *dwo:/*'duwo:,
*twe/*'tuwe and *kwo:n/*'kuwo:n which would show this
stress shift. That pattern would affect nonenclitics beginning
with Cw- where C is any stop which isn't voiced-aspirated.
Could that work? Are there counterexamples?
