Dear Juha,

Since you have not cited my critique of Steve Farmer's flights of
fancy, here it is:
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/IndianCivilization/message/46995

I have not claimed any 'decipherment'. I have only said that the
code of hieroglyphs is cracked. There are many isolate glyphs which
are difficult to comprehend, in orthographic terms; for e.g., is it
a bat or is it a bird? There can be many opinions on such glyphs.

You should take my work seriously because I have listed over 1000
lexemes of mleccha and proved them to be rebus representations
(mlecchita vikalpa) of artisan guilds. As the cultural traditions
live on, the glyphs are also found on punch-marked coins and copper
plate inscriptions.

Since we are dealing with a cultural continuum, it may be useful to
take a fresh look at the roots of Bharatiya languages instead of the
desiccated, narrow IE route.

On Soma, I have read the EJVS reference carefully. It is mythology.
Please see my URL on the Indian Alchemy: Soma in the Veda for an
alternate view.

Regards.
