Crack-pot

There are two lexemes with cognates in many languages of Bharat, for
two distinct types of ancient pots.

One is a wide-mouthed, rimless pot, bat.a which is rebus
for 'furnace'.

Another is a narrow-necked jar with a rim, kan.d.a kan-ka, which is
rebus for 'copper furnace'. kan-ka is Sanskrit karn.aka.
