Egijus, we don't know much about Thracian, but what we do know really
rules out the possibility of Thracian being a Baltic language, or a form
of (pre-)Proto-Baltic. There is a relationship, of course, but not close
enough to justify the use of Modern Lithuanian to "explain" Thracian
words. I have to ask you to change the style of your postings -- I'm
saying this as the list's moderator now. Lists of Thracian/Dacian names
allegedly similar to something or other in Baltic (including really
preposterous comparisons, like the one above with the 3rd p. preterite
of "to come") are not the kind of stuff that can lead to profitable
discussion.
