It's not about "believing" a scenario. It's about opening your damn eyes
and seeing the _facts_.
Talk to a typical North American aboriginal and he will tell you about
how many Natives are abandoning their native tongues for English
all the time. Do you think that they don't??
For that matter, go to a damn library for once and read about Gaelic.
You may have noticed that yet again a language is dying out to
English. Do you think that THAT's made-up too??
We didn't say that everyone will speak English in the future. There's
no way of predicting that. All we said was that people CAN abandon
their native language for another. You resist that in contrast to reality.
These are all _facts_ that you _believe_ aren't true. But this List
doesn't give a rat's ass about your beliefs. Yes, people ARE abandoning
their languages. Undeniably! You're the only crackpot that seems to
