Hello,

My suggestions about what roots can be of these words:

Samland is misspelling of Duchy of Semba.

Word ALUS in Lithuanian means BEER.

Word MOLIS in Lithuanian means CLAY.

Word JEGA in Lithuanian means POWER. Compare name Jegindans with name Galindans (Baltic nation, which lived in Prusa and near town of Moscow (Maskava).

Word ANAS in Lithuanian means ANOTHER ONE.

Also there was Baltic nation Selians (Seleans).

   Regards, Egijus
