Hello,
Word ILENS in Latvian language means AWL. Lithuanian form of
Latvian word ILENS would be ILËNAS (ILENAS, ILEANAS). Word ILENAS
means SOMEONE, WHO HAVE SOMETHING TO DO WITH ILË (ILE, ILEA). So,
word ILE existed in Proto Baltic language. It's most possible that
meaning of this word was FINGER.
