Albanian initial "h"

I suspected Albanian has too an initial "h" from a velar but I guess I
better ask here.
The words who made me to think about is "hurmë" (date, the fruit) and
"huptë" (altgebackenes Brot).

I corelated (maybe wrong) the words as follow:

hurmë - Rom. "curmalã" ( date, the fruit)
huptë - Rom. "copt" ( gebacken)

Rom. curmalã cf DEX is to see in comparation with NeoGreek
"kurmás"(meaning?)
Rom. "coace" is given from Vulgar Latin "cocere"(<coquere)

Any opinion about a posible initial "h" in Alb. from a velar?
