Dear List,
I have received complaints from various places concerning virus-infected
email purportedly circulated via Cybalist. It's the notorious Sobig.F
worm, which spoofs the "From:" field and tries to send copies of itself
to addresses stolen from the address book of an already infected machine
(in these cases it dresses up as Cybalist messages, thus besmirching our
collective reputation). It seems that at least one Cybalist member has
the virus. I'd like to ask all those who aren't running updated good
quality antivirus software to read the description of the virus and take
elementary precautions a.s.a.p.:
