For language Polish, my current settings are that e-mail will be sent using
either us-ascii or iso-8859-2 (Latin-2, "Eastern European"). In the case
at hand, Latin-2 was obviously chosen ["When Agent formats an outbound
message, it chooses a charset from the designated list, by picking the
first charset that most completely encodes the text of the message"]. The
other options I have are [us-ascii], [us-ascii,iso-8859-2,utf-8],
[us-ascii,utf-8],[us-ascii,utf-7].
I have now changed the setting to [us-ascii,utf-8], which means that if I
insert a random Polish character here ... ΕΊ ... the whole message will be
encoded in utf-8. What does that give?
