I thought variations in body _shape_ did correlate fairly well with
latitude - Allen's law I think. If the Neanderthals are any guide,
we've still got a long way to go in adapting to our local
environments. Allen's law doesn't just apply to hominids.

Staying off topic, when did Watutsi become Watusi? Last time I asked
one what they should be called (c. 1978), there was no suggestion
that the <ts> should be <s>.
