Old Russian <Uglec^e pole>, Russian <Uglic^> (a city in Yaroslavl'
district) could make a possible parallel (if from *o,gUlIc^I, a
substantivized possesive adjective <*o,gUlIcI, a diminutive < *o,gUlU).
