So where are they placed exactly? Aren't they kind of mixed with
Iranian and Arabic (I have read something of the kind, at least about
considerable Iranian influence and even relatedness of vocabulary,
and about Arabic influence on Turkish). Pamiric languages count as
Iranian, yet they have, in return, a lot of Turkic elements.
