That's not what I meant. Why _PIE_ *pe:kW-? The present stem was
*pekW-e-, with a short vowel. You are not free to posit a long vowel ad
hoc, without a word of justification, just because a short one doesn't fit.

Anyway, since PIE *pekWo: 'cook' is reflected in Albanian as <pjek>
'bake' (with the expected regular developments and no labiovelar
assimilation), it makes no sense to insist that it's _also_ reflected as
<sos> 'finish' (which you can't derive without making quite a few
unwarranted "special" assumptions).
