hassu- 'king' is connected to it, as well as Hitt.
hass- 'to give birth'. Especially the last word shows
we are dealing with a root *h2ens-, of which *h2ensu-
is an u-stem derivation. Moreover, the root for 'to
breath' would be *HenH- (Skt. aniti).
