How is in fact seen the change *k^> s ? Which are the intermediar steps?
Which should be the intermediary sounds which allowed the /k^/(
pronounced how ?) to became /s/? I can just trace the change I know c >
c^i > s^ and just when followed by /e/ or /i/ for allowing /c/>/c^/.
Or this /k^/ due its palatal position have had something like a small
/i/ there?
