Some more comments. The logical gender structure of my own daily
language, Norwegian Bokmål is like this:
Animate
Human
maskuline
Feminine
Things
maskuline
feminine
Inanimate
Logically this gender structure is fairly complex. But every
subsystem of the grammar does not use the whole hierarchy.
Ajectives only agree acording to the animate/inanimate distinction.
Pronouns use most of this system.
Nouns inflect according to this scheeme:
Animate
Maskuline
Feminine
Inanimate
