:-) It is enough since is not only Latin

Unstressed PIE /o/ > /u/ in Latin too; (this time Latin/o/) Latin /o/ >
/u/in Romanian. Just a constatation.

Now just some paralelism between Dacian and Illirian:

dacian /illirian

Alutas / Alto
Apus / Aponus
Blandiana /Blandona
Krunoi / Kreonion
Spiurum / Speridion
etc.

I mention I am not the one who see these corespondence, but this is an
extract from the work of Cicerone Poghirc "Thrace et daco-mésien:
language ou dialectes?".
Pogirc shows here just the corespondences. My observation is just the
alternation /o/ versus /u/.
