<dreq> is one of the umlauted singularised plurals in Albanian, like
<gjel> 'cock', <enë> 'vessel', etc. It's singular but presupposes
earlier *drak, pl. *dreq < *drak-i (is it actually attested, Abdullah?).
Isn't this *-i identical with analogically generalised Latin -i:
(possibly confused with inherited collectives in *-ijo-/*-ijah2)?
