The question was Engl. devil = R. ... Therefore,
drac & diavol. Actually, satan and satan& is
a (Hebrew) name of the devil. E.g. "piei, satan&!"
or "piei, Satan&!" roughly corresponds to Lat.
"vade retro, Satanas!" [Rum. a pierí, -ire "to
perish;" piei [pjej] is the old and prefered
imperative form, without -r-.]
