CP's contemporary (and even guest, I suppose) was the
"duke" of the Hungarians, Toxun. Later & modern Hungarians
have magyarized this name as Taksony [tOk-Son^], but it
weren't be a surprise to me if some Turkologist would
suggest the modern variant of Toxun is Tahsin (in Turkish).
(Even Thaksin? -> Thaksin Shinawatra, Thailand's prime
minister :-).
BTW, Toxun is said to have invited many Turkic people to
the new-fangled Hungary (some of them Moslems).
