This is what I want to find out. There is an atlas and his work in an
another book on the travel to Asia.
I searched in all Biblioteksverbund I am able to reach with my identity
card and none will give the original atlas out. Fortunately there are
the library of Göttingen and Halle, they make copy of it and send you
home. I will go tomorrow to command it and I want to see what about. I
am not so much interested in the map as in the sources of him. Who, or
how was he finding out that this map is of the year 912 and wherefrom
whould it be? Is this an oriental source? Is this a slavic one? Is this
what? There are plenty of questions from my side.
As for your exactly question, I will answer with alike doubtfully
question. Why such a strange year (912)?
I am indeed very curious, but more as what i know now I cannot tel you.
Kommt Zeit , kommt Rat. We have to wait a bit until the book will be
available. I will scan and post anything someone think it should be of
interess.
