But Jens, how will you account for the /i/ and /u/ in Sanskrit?

By the way, the idea about babies. The big /a/ is the beginning
of the big noise :-) But then you get to hear /i/ (usually dididi), /u/
(typically gugugu)and /e/ (nenene, hehe, but this could be just
the Bulgarian influence). Interesting, I do not think I have heard
an /o/.
