This is a bleeding overstatement, if I've ever heard one. Nothing
you've shown so far makes one necessitate the assumptions you
impose on the IE problem. Where _is_ this pattern in IE? And please
don't bore us more with pre-IE reconstructions you've pulled out
of a hat. I want evidence within IE itself that shows what you're
saying to be true (or at the very least, vraisemblable). I still don't
even see how the dual marker can be ancient in IE, but of course
you must ignore this issue if you are to indulge in your dreams.
