After the discution of /bi/ & /vi/ versus /g'i/ and the alternative for
the word "life" I took a look at the Albanian words.Interestign there we
have in Albanian:
to live = jeton
life = jetë
alive = gjallë, në jetë
to become alive= ngjall ( auferstehen)
It looks strange. We have rom. "viata" from a presumabely Latin
"*vivitia" but as I showed in the /vi/=/g'i/ we have too the form
g'iatã= life.
So let them put face to face:
alb. "jetë" - rom. "g'iaTë"
alb " në jetë" - rom. "in g'iaTã"
alb. "ngjall" _ rom. "îng'ia"
alb. "ngjallje" - rom. "ing'iere"
Are these simply coincidences? Or there is something more? I guess there
is something more since the posseive pronouns and specialy the
demonstrative pronouns are actually very related to each other.
