Right, Miguel and P&G, I know of course that Juppiter contains the word
"father". Regardless of the fact that it can also be used without this
part it *is* the normal form of the nominative and vocative, and in the
function as nominative it certainly illustrates the possibility of marking
that case quite heavily. As a vocative it is perhaps, within IE, even more
remarkable, since that case had no marking, being expressed by the bare
stem.

The point I'm making is no big deal and I'm not being very serious: the
unexpected happens. No amount of phonological or morphological insight
into English could make you predict that the vocative of The Prince of
Wales is Your Royal Highness.
