Read what I wrote instead of some bizarre straw man of your
own devising. Your response is a complete non sequitur.
Whether the IE present is or is not marked has nothing to do
with Present-Day English. Whether the IE nominative is
marked has nothing to do with Present-Day Italian, etc.
