As for diphtongations, they are typical of your
subdialectal region, where there's not only
"mâine, pâine, câine", but also "oichi" for "ochi".
(Whereas in other regions even "piept, fierbe, fier"
haven't been altered up to day: "pept, ferbe, fer"
& "mâne, pâne, câne" - variants that are namely
older.)

But you'll instantly understand everything; perhaps for
"$ubanu gu gubilu" you'd need the help of someone from
Moldavia, "ciobanu cu copilu".
