Logical circularity and multiplication of hypotheses.

It seems to me that you are now attempting to solve "supposed
phonetic difficulties" that you have strangely imposed on yourself
in the first place! Why must you reconstruct a Salish-like language
when much simpler (and more common) phonologies and syllabic rules
can be used? (Don't answer. It's a rhetorical question.)
