Abdullah, are you sure the Alb "sorrë" is from the root *kareka?
From this root will be imposible the Romanian word "cioarã"
Since we seen that "c^" > "s" in Albanian, the ProtoAlbanian form should
have been "c^ore" which is the actualy Romanian word.
But an "c^" in Rom. can be just when "k" followed by /i/ or /e/ or PIE
*/j/. In this case the root must be something like *kVore, where V= /e/
or /i/ or /j/.The other alternative should be a jotacisation of "o" and
then we can remain with a root like *kore
If we take a look at Latin "cornix" there is the root *qor- which will
matches the *kore I thouhgt about and will make posible the Alb. & Rom.
word

If we take the root you speak about *kareka you have to explain how you
got the "o" there and in fact, how should be to explain the Romanian
"c^". It seems until now, there is no special root, but the very known
one, meaning this "qor-"
