"mi-e frica = imi este frica" (verbatim: "to me is
fear/fright"), "a in+frico+$a"; adjectives (in
the shape of past participles): "in+frico+$a+t",
"ne/in+fric'+at."

I have a little problem here with the construct "mie imi este+
description" vis a vis the verbatim you use.
this is a very archaical form to say the things in Romanian:

imi este foame= to me is hunger
imi eSti drag/dragã= you are dear to me

Of course one can use I am hungry= sint flãmând" or I love you " te
iubesc" but they are definetely not so "deep" in sense as these archaic
( in my opinion) way to exprime. The question is:
Is a such way to exprime an archaic one or not? ( 'to me is hunger'
versus 'I am hungry')
