SO Piotr, when you say that Illyrian (and maybe Venetic) may be more closely related to Italic, Celtic, Germanic and perhaps Lusitanian than to the rest of Indo-European, does that also mean that all these languages are more closely related to one another than to the rest of Indo-European?
And aren't there two proposed "Westergrups" (I don't remember the exact term, something like that) in the area of Belgium/the Netherlands/Western Germany/Eastern Gaul- One thought to be a seperate Indo-European language spoken by the Belgae (on the basis of place-names) and another non-Indo-European language (also on the basis of place names) ?
