George,
Very difficult to ascertain whether it's conquest or peaceful migration.  Are we ready to close this thread and declare that Mallory's PIE homeland in the eastern hemisphere extends from the Atlantic to Pacific (since all major language families can be shown to exhibit some relationship)?
